The hotel location is in the heart of the Salamanca, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront. It's very close to Kelly's Steps and Arthur's Circus area as well. We had a King Room on Level 4 (Room No. 50) from the Parkview category overlooking Princes Park. Because it was on the corner of the building it also had a beautiful view of the Derwent River and the glorious morning sunrises. The hotel is open air atrium style, but you don't hear any noise at from other levels, or from traffic. The free parking was welcomed. We walked to breakfast and dinner every day. Cafe and restaurant options are plentiful and covered all dietary requirements and cuisines. We also walked to the harbour areas many times, which is closeby and easy to do on foot. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Check out of 11am was very much appreciated. There was a kettle in the room, as well as glassware to enjoy a wine. The free toiletries were excellent quality. The hotel room size was generously large and included a fabulously long section for our 2 x clamshell suitcases to open out. The king size bed was super comfortable. The bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean.

As this Hobart trip was to celebrate my mums 70th birthday, staying at the Lenna did not disappoint. My mum was thrilled with the upgrade and the beautiful bottle of wine to celebrate her birthday! We stayed in a family room, a generous sized lounge room with a king bed and separte bedroom with a queen sized bed. Plenty of hanging space and space to store bags. The bathroom was reasonbly lit with a great decent sized shower. The rooms were serviced daily, and a well stocked mini bar and complementary tea and coffee came in very handy after long days of exploring the surrounding sites. From the history and ornate appearance of the building to the central location of not only Salamaca and the dock to the gorgeous Hampton road and the gorgeous little cafes and boutique shops. Staying at the Lenna has its modern rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It also has history and beautiful rooms to explore and appreciate the heritage. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We loved staying here at the Lenna and would highly recommend this place to anyone who would love a comfortable and convenient location.

The hotel's ambiance and location are ideal, situated within walking distance of Salamanca Place and Hobart's CBD. This hotel is truly a gem, and its rich history adds to its charm. My husband and I enjoyed a self-guided tour, where we learned a great deal about the heritage of the original owner from 1860, enhancing our appreciation for the property. The secure complimentary parking provided a sense of luxury and peace of mind, knowing we wouldn't incur any additional expenses. The complimentary Wi-Fi was excellent, allowing us to stay connected during our visit. Additionally, the bar was well presented, offering a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. We will definitely be staying at the Lenna of Hobart on our next visit to the city. The combination of its historical significance, convenient location, and excellent amenities makes it a top choice for travelers.

The heritage of the property was so interesting, especially the lookout. The rooms were clean, comfortable and enjoyable. Coffee machine with separate milk frother plus a fridge with mini bar (great range of items) for extra charge. The room had a sofa, table and two chairs, outdoor patio area with two chairs (the sliding door featured a bug screen to avoid creepy crawlies getting in the room) and a desk area and swivel chair. Good sized tv. Bed was just about right in firmness, great pillows, nice bedding. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The location was perfect - a few minutes walk from Salamanca Street and the harbour area. Having parking on site was very good. The main building garden and terrance were lovely areas to enjoy and relax in. The bar offered delicious cocktails. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to travellers.

Fabulous location! The staff here could not have been helpful enough when I arrived with a long vehicle and needing a storage facility for my filthy bike and bike rack - nothing was a problem for them. The location is outstanding, just next to the Salamanca area at Battery Point. I loved that I could opt to 'be green' and not have my room made up at all if I wished. The room was large with plenty of space to move around. There were little break out spaces in the atrium of each level to sit and enjoy a bevvy. The view of Mt Wellington was great. Lovely comfortable bed. Happy hour via antique telephone was quaint and enjoyable.
